Foundational Areas

The study tracks students' progress in reading, writing, and maths, as they move through the education system. This involves online assessments administered by classroom teachers.

Learning Areas

The study involves trained Kaiako Rangahau | Teacher Researchers visiting schools to administer rich tasks and gather information about teaching, learning, and achievement. The eight learning areas of the curriculum are covered in a four-year cycle.
