The Insights reports are designed to support teaching in New Zealand primary classrooms. They illustrate how students responded to some of the challenges presented by the NMSSA assessment programme 2017. The reports describe the demands of a selection of tasks and outline the strengths and weaknesses evident in students’ responses.
A brief overview of the study, including high-level findings regarding achievement, is provided in the introduction to each report.
