The NMSSA team was delighted to welcome Teacher Assessors to the University of Otago, Auckland campus during 25-29 July 2022.
The group of 26 Teacher Assessors came together from across New Zealand to undertake specialised assessment training in preparation for national student assessments (Year 4 and Year 8) in Health and Physical Education, and Mathematics and Statistics. Assessments in these curriculum areas were last undertaken in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
The 2022 student assessments will take place across 200 schools throughout Term 3, August to October 2022.
Reports on student achievements from these assessments are due for release in mid-2023.
